TERMS & CONDITIONS

For your dog's stay at Nightingale Kennels

Vaccinations

  • All dog’s vaccinations must be fully up to date.

  • We are unable to board any dog without proof of vaccination.

  • Vaccination certificates must be supplied on the day of admission.

  • Your dog MUST have been treated for kennel cough at least 10 days prior to arrival.

  • Please ensure that your dog has been wormed and clear of fleas upon arrival at the kennels; a charge may be applied if treatment for either condition is necessary.

What to bring with you

  • Your dog(s) must arrive on a lead or in a box and be properly supervised on arrival and departure.

  • We provide a high quality feed (both wet and dry) but you can bring your own if you prefer.

  • You may bring bedding or toys although these are supplied by the kennels.

  • Please be aware that it is the owners responsibility to collect their belongings at the end of their dogs stay.

  • Please arrive within our stated drop-off and collection times as defined in our Booking Information.

  • Our opening times are Monday to Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm, except Wednesdays (8.30am to 12pm).

  • Sorry - no visitors, drop-offs or collections after 12 noon on Wednesdays (except by prior arrangement).

Veterinary Care

  • We have a veterinary surgeon on call 24 hours a day.

  • We will endeavour to contact you prior to calling out a vet, however this will not be allowed to delay any treatments which may be necessary.

  • We do not cover any veterinary fees so a prior arrangement with your vet is best.

  • The vets associated with Nightingale Kennels is COBIE VETCARE IN EASTBOURNE.

  • We cannot provide insurance cover for vets or other costs and Nightingale Kennels cannot be held responsible for any illness or injury which may occur during your dogs stay.

  • Please ensure that the Kennel staff are fully aware of any relevant information about your dog which would be of concern to us during its stay with us.

  • All dogs are boarded at their owners own risk.

Charges & liability

  • ​Owners MUST complete our Registration Form for all dogs.

  • Owners will receive confirmation of booking availability from Nightingale Kennels once all required information has been received.

  • Bookings will be confirmed by email on receipt of your deposit.

  • Payments are expected by direct bank transfer using your dog's name as your reference.

  • All accounts must be paid either before or on arrival.

  • Your 50% deposit is non refundable if cancelled within 28 days of your stay.

  • Please note that you will not be entitled to any refund should you choose to take your dog home earlier than stated on the booking form.

  • Owners are liable for damage done to staff and property.

  • Whilst we will take every care of your dog(s) whilst they are at the kennels, Nightingale Kennels are not responsible if they escape off the property.

Walking Declaration and Social Media Agreement

  • ​Owners will be asked, during Registration, to confirm in writing whether they are happy for their dogs to be exercised off a lead and/or socialised with other dogs.

  • Owners will be asked, during Registration, to confirm in writing whether they would like photos of their dogs during their stay, and whether they are happy for photographs of their dogs to be used on our website and social media platforms.

5 STAR BOARDING & DAYCARE

Nightingale Kennels is usually booked up 6-8 weeks in advance.

You are welcome to contact us for cancellations and late availability.
